Fire crews from Doncaster and Askern were called to a road traffic collision at Adwick Lane Toll Bar on Saturday morning at 9.26am.

A woman in her 30s and a young girl were trapped in a car which was on its side in a ditch.

Firefighters used cutting gear and were able to safely remove the woman and girl who were then treated by paramedics.

Fire crews left the scene at 10.17am
