Weekend incidents 26/28 January 2024

Friday 26 January

A car was deliberately set on fire at 8:15pm on Church Lane, Hackenthorpe, Sheffield. Firefighters from Birley station attended the incident. They left at 9:25pm.

Two fire crews from Elm Lane and Rivelin stations were called out to a premise fire at 8:40pm on Northlands Road, Sheffield. The accidental fire involved the hob. Crews left the scene at 11:05pm.

Saturday 27 January

Firefighters from Stocksbridge, Tankersley and Rivelin stations attended a conservatory on fire at 5:30am on Hunshelf Road, Stocksbridge, Sheffield. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. Crews came away at 7:30am.

Sunday 28 January

A lorry was deliberately set on fire at 12:25am on Rutland Road, Sheffield. Firefighters from Central station attended the incident. They left at 1:35am.

Two fire crews from Maltby and Edlington stations were called out to a deliberate shed fire at 9am on Highfield Park, Maltby, Rotherham. The crews left the scene at 10:30am.

Rivelin firefighters attended a deliberate fire involving a moped at 2:40pm on Loxley Road, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 3:30pm.
