Fire crews have been busy across the county this weekend attending four vehicle fires, one caravan fire, six building fires and a number of small rubbish fires.
The building fires include:
- An attached garage on Kirkhill Close, Armthorpe, Doncaster at 8:30 pm on Friday evening. This was an accidental fire.
- A flat fire at 7:15 am on Saturday morning on Bowden Wood Close in Sheffield. The fire was on the balcony and is believed to have been started deliberately.
- Three fire crews were called to a house on Springwood Road, Hoyland, Barnsley at 11:40 am Saturday morning. Two casualties were left in the hands of paramedics at the scene. The cause if thought to be accidental.
- At 9:30 pm on Saturday evening two fire engines attended a derelict building on fire on Cresswell Street, Posmoor, Barnsley. This was a deliberate fire.
- On Sunday morning at 6:45am two fire engines were called to a detached garage fire on Don Street, Wheatley, Doncaster. The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate.
- Three fire crews were called to a barn on fire at 10:3o am on Sunday at Rakes Lane, Loversall, Doncaster. Straw and machinery were on fire. The cause is believed to be accidental.
