Weekends incidents 10 to 12 September 2021

A Vauxhall Zafira car was deliberately set on fire at 10:25pm (Friday) on Stairfoot Way, Stairfoot, Barnsley. Firefighters from Cudworth station attended the incident. The crew left the scene at 11pm.

Three fire crews from Rotherham, Parkway and Elm Lane stations were called out to a premise fire at 1:40pm (Saturday) on Town Street, Canklow, Rotherham. The fire was in a bedroom. There were no reports of any casualties. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. The crews left the scene at 3:25pm.

Firefighters from Parkway and Central station attended a bedroom fire in a premise on Fitzhubert Road, Sheffield at 4:55pm (Saturday). The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing. Firefighters left the scene at 7:40pm.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 7pm (Saturday) on Thorpe Bank, Banrby Dun, Doncaster. Firefighters from Doncaster station attended the incident. They left at 7:55pm.

Birley Moor firefighters attended a Skoda Fabia car on fire at 7:20pm (Saturday) on Normanton Hill, Sheffield. The cause of the fire is not known. The fire crew left the scene at 8pm.

Firefighters from Doncaster station attended a deliberate vehicle fire at 10:15pm (Saturday) on Tickhill Road, Balby, Doncaster. The crew came away at 10:45pm.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 11:30pm (Saturday) on Fitzwilliam Road, Eastwood, Rotherham. Firefighters from Rotherham station attended the incident. The crew left at 12:10am.

Dearne station attended a deliberate car fire at 11:40pm (Saturday) on Marvel Way, Wath Upon Dearne, Rotherham. Firefighters left the scene at 12:15am.

Firefighters from Rivelin station were called out to an accidental car fire at 12:10am (Sunday) on Manchester Road, Crosspool, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 12:55am.

A van was deliberately set on fire at 2:50am (Sunday) on Flint Road, Intake, Doncaster. Firefighters from Doncaster station attended the incident. They left at 3:30am.

Three fire crews from Rotherham, Elm Lane and Parkway stations attended a fire involving several cars at 3:35am (Sunday) on Hope Street, Thornhill, Rotherham. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crews left the scene at 5:30am.
