A woman in her 50s had to be cut free by fireifhgters from a Vauxhall Corsa after a road traffic collision on the M18 in Doncaster.

Doncaster, Thorne and Adwick firefighters attended the incident which also involved a Subaru. A woman, also in her 50s, walked away from the Subaru with minor injuries but was taken to hospital as a precaution.

The incident happened at around 7.30pm on Friday (25 September) near East Cowick.

Yorkshire Ambulance Service and South Yorkshire Police also attended.
