Emergency services are dealing with a chemical incident at Asda in Parson Cross.
An industrial chemical was spilled from a vehicle in the supermarket car park.
The car park and supermarket are both currently closed. Deerlands Avenue is closed to traffic in both directions.
Firefighters are using absorbent granules to safely dispose of the chemical. There is no danger to the public.
Seven people were given a precautionary check up by paramedics.
Firefighters were called to the incident at around 12.10pm on Friday. Three fire engines and several specialist vehicles are on the scene.
Crews are expected to remain at the scene until around 4pm.
