Firefighters have been tackling a large fire at an unused single storey building on Queen Street in Swinton, Rotherham.

Fire crews were called at 6:45pm on Sunday evening and at the height of the fire six fire engines were at the scene.

The firefighters worked hard to prevent the fire spreading to near by buildings.

An investigation will now take place to determine the cause of the fire.
