Firefighters from Aston Park, Rotherham and Maltby were called to Templar Close, Thurcroft, at 7.44pm. Upon arrival they found a fire in a grill due to food being left under the heat. This damaged the kitchen and caused smoke logging to the property. This was dealt with by 8.03pm.

Firefighters from Parkway and Birley Moor were called to the Rockingham Flats, Shortbrook Drive, Sheffield, at 10.29pm. Upon arrival they found a commercial bin alight in a bin store. This was dealt with by 10.46pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Adwick were called to Shaftsbury Avenue, Doncaster, at 0.13am. Upon arrival they found a car well alight. This was dealt with by 0.40am and is thought to have been started deliberately.
