Overnight incidents 19/20 February

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire on Cary Road, Sheffield at 7:15pm. Firefighters from Central station attended the incident. They left the scene at 7:40pm.

Another wheelie bin was also deliberately set on fire at 9:10pm on Green Lane, Woodlands, Doncaster. A fire crew from Adwick station were called out to the incident. They left at 9:25pm.

Two fire crews from Thorne and Doncaster stations attended a chimney fire at a premise on Wike Gate Road, Thorne, Doncaster at 10:05pm. It was an accidental fire and the crews were able to extinguish the fire from the grate. The crews left at 10:30pm.

At 10:15pm last night three fire crews from Edlington, Rotherham and Maltby stations were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire which had spread slightly to an electrical sub station on Common Lane, Clifton, Doncaster. The crew used dry powder to put the fire out. They left the scene at 10:55pm.
