Overnight incidents 19/20 November

Three fire engines attended were called at 8.30pm on Sunday 19 November to reports of a fire inside a pub on Mansfield Road, Sheffield. Two hose reels were used to extinguish the fire which was located in the dance hall and involved a plastic container. A ventilation fan was used to clear the smoke. The incident had been dealt with by 9.23pm.

One fire engine attended a car fire on Roehampton Rise, Ardsley, Barnsley after a call was received at midnight. One hose reel was used to extinguish the fire which was set deliberately. Crews had left the scene by 12.43am.

One fire engine attended a car fire in a field near Crook House Lane, Darfield, Barnsley after a call was received at 2.30am. One hose reel was used to extinguish the fire which is believed to have been set deliberately. The incident had been dealt with by 3am.
