Overnight incidents – 19/20 September

Firefighters from Parkway were called to Motehall Road, Sheffield, at 8.58pm. Upon arrival they found a red Citroen Xsara Picasso well alight. This was dealt with by 9.26pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Elm Lane were called to Greenland Road, Sheffield, at 9.02pm. Upon arrival they found a litter bin on fire. This was dealt with by 9.27pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Rotherham were called to Avondale Road, Masbrough, at 9.57pm. Upon arrival they found a pile of rubbish on fire in a farm field. This was dealt with by 10.24pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Central were called to Callow Drive, Sheffield, at 10.51pm. Upon arrival they found a skip well alight outside a block of flats. This was dealt with by 11.13pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Birley Moor were called to Scowerdons Close, Sheffield, at 0.09am. Upon arrival they found a Toyota Yaris well alight. This was dealt with by 0.46am and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Aston Park were called to Gray Avenue, Swallownest, at 0.45am. Upon arrival they found a motor scooter well alight. This was dealt with by 1.07am and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Rivelin were called to Tapton Hill Road, Sheffield, at 3.04am. Upon arrival they found a Toyota Rav 4 on fire, with the fire mainly contained to the engine compartment. This was dealt with by 3.33am and is thought to have started accidentally.
