Overnight incidents – 24/25 May

Firefighters from Stocksbridge were called to Alpine Close, Sheffield, at 7.23pm. Upon arrival they found a small fire in the nearby woods. This was dealt with by 7.51pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Thorne were called to Dunsville Quarry Park, Broadway, at 10.02pm. Upon arrival they found a fence well alight. This was dealt with by 10.31pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Elm Lane were called to Grange Mill Lane, Sheffield, at 10.24pm. Upon arrival they found a BMW X3 on fire. This was dealt with by 11.09pm and is thought to have started accidentally, in the engine block.

Firefighters from Rivelin were called to Harley Brook Road, Sheffield, at 10.55pm. Upon arrival they found a rubbish fire in a back garden. This spread to a fence. This was dealt with by 0.22am and is thought to have been started accidentally.
