Firefighters from Rotherham station were called out to Brentwood Hotel on Moorgate Road in Moorgate, Rotherham this morning at 6:30am.

A very large tree had fallen onto the building due to the bad weather.

Luckily no one was injured.

Firefighters assisted the hotel in evacuating residents to a different part of the hotel.

A dangerous structure engineer also attended.

Fire crews left the scene at 7:30am.
