At HOPE we provide free and unlimited support to people bereaved or affected by traumatic events such as road traffic collisions, fires, drowning or through the witnessing of a traumatic event. HOPE supports children and adults of all ages, from all backgrounds in whatever way is best for them.
We understand traumatic bereavement and how it can impact every part of your life. We recognise the power of coming together and supporting each other.
The HOPE support group offers a meeting and support structure for people who have lost someone through a fire, drowning or road traffic collision. We can also offer home visits, walks and spending time with HOPE’s therapy dog, Oliver.
Anyone who has suffered a traumatic bereavement of someone through a fire, road traffic collision or in fact any incident attended by the fire service in South Yorkshire is welcome to get in touch. It’s never too early or too late to seek support from HOPE.
Even if you feel you are coping, please consider contacting the group as often people find that helping others through a similar experience can give a sense of purpose to their own lives.
